I have a big problem and I need help.

In the last days and for some reason that I don't know, all my email accounts appeared with the session closed.

In most of them I could log in without any problem, but there are two accounts (the most important for various reasons), which I could not enter because the Gmail system requires me to receive a code via text message on a phone number that is no longer active and that the phone company in my country canceled because it was a number that I did not use.

Trying to recover the two accounts, in one of them Gmail gave me the option to enter an alternative email where they sent me an access link after 48 hours, then I could recover that account without major problems.

The big problem now is that with the second account, it has been impossible for the option to appear where I can enter the alternative email as I could do in the first account.

The truth is that this is desperate because I REMEMBER PERFECTLY THE PASSWORD OF MY ACCOUNT and in spite of this, I can not access it because of the phone verification that Gmail requires and added to this is the fact that I am not able to get the option to enter an alternative verification email.

If anyone here can help me, I will be very grateful. I know well that there are people here with a lot of knowledge about everything related to the Internet, and I just hope that someone can help me at this time.

Thanks in advance to those who can help.

It doesn't happen every time, but sometimes if you try to recover a Google account there is an option like "I don't have access to this device". If you click on it, it may offer alternative methods such as asking some questions to verify it's you (last known password, account creation date, contact info, etc).

"I don't have access to this device"
I know that, what I don't know is how to get Gmail to give me the option to "I don't have access to this device" or to enter an alternate email address where they can send me a recovery link.

Does anyone here know if it is possible to contact the Gmail team somehow to recover that account?

It is urgent. Otherwise I wouldn't have posted it here.

Any luck with this @astro2014 ? Sorry to hear about your troubles, it sounds like a headache.

Adding to what was already said, I only ever got the "no access" option when I as recovering my google acc via desktop/pc. Hope that helps some, and I really hope you get this resolved.

you have access to gmails now?
I have about 20 gmail accounts that I use for different things. Of those accounts, I have access on 19 of them. Of those 19 accounts, 18 are not very important accounts and one of them is very important. From that very important account I have already regained access. However, there is still another very important account that I have not been able to regain access to for the reasons I have already explained in this thread.

Thank you for your interest.

I haven't really had any progress so far.

I have tried to regain access from my PC, from my mobile, from a tablet, and in no way does the option appear for Gmail to allow me to supply an alternative contact email.

I hope there is someone here who might know a Gmail employee and can give me a hand with this problem.

Mate, once you verify with phone number an account, remove that number from account and let only recovery email + security questions. If you don't have any phone linked, they will not ask for phone verification.

I will keep this in mind for future Gmail accounts I open.

In the meantime, that's something I can't do with the account I have not been able to recover.

Try your luck by sending them an email or so...or at least request them to download your history data.

I have tried to find some email contact with gmail support and have not been able to. I even called the Google offices in my country and for technical problems with Gmail one must refer to the account recovery form which, in my case, has not helped me at all.
