problems with applying to affiliate programs

Hey guys,

Recently I aplied for over a hundred affiliate programs with big name companies in the US. I have encountered some problems with it.

Firstly, they do not accept me because I am not from the US sometimes (which is rediculous becuase a lot of my traffic is from the US).

Secondly, it sometimes takes months to get accepted into their programs, which is really annoying. Some programs do not even decline, but just do not accept.


What are your strategies to get accepted into programs quickly? It just does not make sense to me. I have tried mailing the people in charge of the affiliate programs, without great success.

all the big online shops

i am going to be promoting them on a very big site i own, it just takes forever for them to accept me
 
what you mean by applying to 100 aff. programs you need to be more clear are you trying to say that you applied to over 100 CPA networks? that isnt needed at all.............

No, pretty sure CJ or Linkshare. It's typical for those advertisers to not log in for long periods of time. Stupid.
 
I have accounts at the major affiliate programs such as the google affiliate program, CJ and so on.

but is is a headache to get accepted in the big programs, which should not be a headache... so nobody has any advice on that?
 
Try SFI instead it's better that any affiliate network, Visit my home page to know more about it ^_^

Sounds like a classic MLM, much like the Empower Network.
 
first I don't understand why you need 100's of affiliate program, instead of using few major affiliate programs such as Commission Junction, etc.

When you have accounts with major affiliate programs why you getting problems with other affiliate programs?

Yeah, I don't know why, either. I use about three pretty consistently. On very rare occasion, I'll venture elsewhere (usually if a former partner is doing a launch), but for the most part, I stay with one of the three.
 
Empower network is a blogger SFI consist of many products from many different merchants.. and you can join it for free just like other affiliate networks...
 
The question why I want to do it amazes me, ok but no real help for this.

I have to come up with a strategy for this, I have a great BH method, that is already working, but to upscale I need to join the big affiliate programs :/

If you can share your method then I will try it my self on what I am recommending if it works then you'll the first one to know ^_^
 
Recently my affiliate discovered the traffic i was sending was coming from a redirect URL[through a cloaked site].Redirects are against their terms of service and now my sales and commissions are a big 0.I s there any way i can trick them into thinking my traffic is coming directly from my referral URL?

Well, with CPA networks, I believe there is a tutorial here on BHW on how to get approved. Use the search function. I'm betting you'll be able to find it.

EDIT: Also, don't share your method here. It'll get leeched and abused until it doesn't work anymore.

about the redirecting, when they found out, they did not kick you out?! thats surprising :)
