Problems to monetize huge traffic, any ideas?

Hi i have a 1 biggest news site in Finland area with 5,5 million page views per month.

Problem is that is alternative news and not suitable anymore to Adsense. I have been trying many affiliates network but havent found any good yet.

What You suggest how to monetize such a traffic if content is sometimes rough and political views alternative.

Still Adsense... just make sure that Adsense is not displayed on the questionable content AND that the questionable content is not promoted on the pages where you show Adsense ads.

If you have huge traffic then you can try taboola. Many news site where adsense are not allowed are using this.

Upload an opt-in box on your site; collect emails
and then promote CPL or CPA offers related to news niche !

CPA would be your best bet. Since you have a news site, why don't you write a news story on something like the next best teeth whitener, weight loss product or something and link to a CPA site.

You could make some decent cash especially if the CPA offer doesn't require people to pull out their credit cards.

There's a clue in your username. Porn ad networks will usually accept alternative news sites. Anyway, folks behind alternative news usually don't monetize their sites. Tough niche to make a living in, unless you're that Jones guy who pretends to be a conspiracy believer but instead is a great marketer for UFOs and conspiracy types.
