Hey, guys,
hope you're doing well and this is the right place for this topic ^^

I'm writing because I'm looking for advice on my problem. We started a company a few months ago and we're producing our own high quality Fatburner capsules especially for women.

For this we have built up a funnel to collect leads. This is working extremely well. We're generating leads for almost $0.20 via Google and Facebook.

For this we're using a quiz and get the information that 85% of the leads have huge problems with overweight and fatigue. We also ask some other questions that help us to qualify the lead.

The only problem is that the emails simply do not convert. We have already tried a whole bunch of approaches.

From the personal style with storytelling to the pushy way, everything was there...

But the conversion rate is just lousy.

The opening rate is with 35% on average okay I think.

Do any of you have experience in this industry, especially in combination with email marketing?

I am grateful for every tip.

Greetings

Anyone would do or "fill up" a short quiz page. What you have not mentioned (and is the most important thing), is which market region(s) / country or countries are you targeting for your fatburner capsule ? If you replicate this same type of lack of vital information in your sales creatives (regarding your product), that would lead to low or no conversions, sorry to say.

We're promoting in germany. Its not only the fatburner, its a set which contains capsules for 3 month, a diet guide ebook and a motivation calendar. The capsules itself are not only a fatburner. They include some ingredients for fighting the typical lethargy and fatigue also. From my opinion they should fit perfectly to the answers of the quiz...

Why email?
Why arent you directing them right to a sale at the end of the quiz?
Or maybe try directing them to a FB group with people who have already used the system.

Look at how BeachBody coaches work, they get "coaches" to form FB groups, basically the coach gets their friends to join the group and everyone is gonna go on this fat loss journey together, and they all support each other in the group.
The coach will post workouts, recipes, etc.
Of course they also push the fat burner pills or monthly fee. Tons of positive social reinforcement bc everyone is hyped and social and happy, they p[ost progress pics etc, it just becomes one big positive review for your product.

I cant imagine buying fat burner pills from email. People buy that on referall from friends, authority figures, etc.

Maybe also try an affiliate program with literally every trainer in germany you can board lol. Something they can sell their clients to boost results, your parnter coaches. In fact that should be your target maybe.

All personal trainers and gym bodies who can then make these fb groups for you, over time you can get like 100 fb groups or more promioting for you

Hmm i dont know if cold selling is the solution here. Why they should convert better if they go fewer touch points...

Yeah, that sounds good so far.

Unfortunately, the target group consists mainly of women. Before we started collecting leads, we started a survey and asked if the visitors would rather have a man or a woman as a coach. Over 80% said they didn't want to hear from a man about losing weight...

We have a female editor in our team, but she is not willing to take care of a Facebook group, because she still has her own projects and therefore wants to stay in the background. At the moment she only appears under a fake name, which would cause problems on Facebook because of fake accounts -> not able to verify with her identification card...

Perhaps you should pre-frame the buyer, so that they are filling out the survey because they want to access your product.

But you have to be SUPPPPPER careful as it will lead to you getting banned if you push it too hard to the edge.

But you could say something like.

"We hired 10 nutrient scientist to come up with a formula that helps people lose weight by activating XYZ bacteries in the gutt.

We're opening the doors to a 50 men & women that want to lose weight without working out more than 2 hours per week.

To see if you qualify please fill out the form."

Now you've set it up so that only people that want to test that product are fill out the form.

And of course you need to give them a great deal - like 1 free bottle normally $39, but they get it for just the cost of shipping and handling i.e $7.90 or something.

I have worked in this area before but without a more detailed understanding it is difficult to be precise.

Your problem seems to be you are able to engage them on the problem, but not your solution.

So break your solution down into smaller parts, don't try to convert them to everything at once.

Basically this is the campaign funnel I run for something similar:

Google Adwords
|
v
landing page
|
v
Free + Shipping
|
V
small $ Upsell
|
V
email re-marketing for future upsells

The point is this front end funnel should enable you to break even / make a small profit on your ad spend. Do that and you have a self funding sales pipeline.

You also segment your list into those that have not purchased and those that have.

Then you need to re-market to the former to get them through the funnel and upsell to the latter.

The email marketing failure means you need to hire people who are better at writing emails to do that!

What is the initial price point for the first purchase? Maybe you can offer a trial subscription that converts to a full subscription automatically.

Forget the Open rate that's not what get's you sales. How many clicks are you getting?

From them clicks how long are they on the page for, how are the interacting with it? What kind of page are you sending them too?

That aside.

What age group are you targeting? Do the women you are aiming at have jobs? How informed are they about fitness and your product?

What do you offer them after the quiz for them to sign up? Are you suggesting something to them from the quiz or not?

Have you tried sending the audience group you have now to a product via ads?

You don't need to answer all of the above here, but these are questions you should have answers to.

From super basic info you provided it's either or a combination of:

1. Your qualified audience is cheap as f*ck

2. Your landing page (at least I hope that's where you are sending them) needs some serious work

3. Your target audience is wrong from the outset..
