Some agencies recently said: ''Customers often rent advertising accounts to use, but they often go over budget and then do not pay the agency''

With such problems, how should we solve them or will we lose that money?

You can request a deposit before renting the account out, or you can use a third-party payment processor to collect payment. Even if the customer cancels their credit card, you still get paid.

Customers often pay upfront when renting an ad account, but they often spend more than the budget they transferred and they often don't pay by the end of the day.

You can ask customers to send budget every 2-3 days. And when the budget is almost exhausted, you should ask the customer to transfer more budget

When it is announced that the budget has run out, customers often say they are busy and advertising is still being spent. So should I turn off my customers' advertising campaigns?

Update your spend every 2-3 hours to notify customers when your balance is running low, and you can set spending limits on your ad account.

Create a rule in the ads manager when a certain amount spend stop all the ads. and then ask the client to pay more.
that's the way

Setting limits affects your account's customer file allocation

You can set a spending limit for your account to control your budget. When your account budget runs out, it will be paused.

You should set up limit for accounts to control budget. Besides that, update frequently balance, sending notice for customers when low budget

When the customer's budget is low, my technical team will set the customer's limit, however for long-term and reputable customers, we will allow the customer to exceed the budget by a certain amount. Of course, I have encountered many cases where customers did not pay when the budget was negative.

It's very difficult to control it, so I always offer customers to send their budget 2-3 days in advance

Regularly update balances and set limits. The best way to avoid negative balances and nonpayment

Today the budget is still positive but later it could be negative up to $10K - $15K. And when reminding customers to recharge, they often say they are busy. Then no payment. :weep: :weep:

Have a 5% margin that they need to stay under otherwise you stop the ad being busy is not an excuse if they find it to troublesome they can pay more upfront

Also if it goes $10k-$15k in negative what happens are you on the hook for that or do you just abandon the account

A lot of ways you can avoid or minimize the risk of bad business like that. Off the top of my head, it's asking for money upfront. Regularly communicating also helps, a lot of the times it's probably incompetence rather than malicious when it happens. There's a lot of other ways to go about it which you can check and explore.

My agency usually updates my amount regularly and notifies me when I'm low on budget, otherwise they will shut down my campaign.

Ask for pre-paid. Then try to update the report at least 2 times/day everyday. Then, announce customers when the balance is low. In worst case, limit the daily spending of accounts. And that's how a quality agency works (Base on trust).

Turning off a campaign will affect ad delivery and I limit doing that to existing client accounts.
