Hello
I have some problems using the verify emails tool in scrapebox
Port 25 is blocked, I guess this is the problem.

Wich proxy allow connection on port 25 to check the mail adresses, for a reasonable cost ?

If the solution is using à VPS, wich one is ok, and what are the steps to configure a VPS like that?

Is there other stuff needed?

Thanks a lot for your help, I can't find any solution.

Sadly, most proxy and VPS providers don't allow port 25 that easily. Even if they do, as soon as mailing or spam complaints are registered, the whole account is suspended.

Wait for more sources if anyone knows.

Good luck :)

Thanks for your reply.
But mail verification with scrapebox is considered as Spam ?
It mens this tool can't be used ?

Hello
Thanks for your answer on the other post @loopline. I did another post for my question, here.

I'm still in trouble with this problem.
Thanks a lot for your help

Which proxy or VPS alow port 25 ?

If using a VPS, Do I have to buy a second licence for scrapbox and install the softwar directy on the VPS ? Or I keep scrapbox on my computer and I can connect on the VPS and use the open port 25 of it ?

Scrapbox answered me by mail I can ask my ISP to open port 25. I have this configuration in my internet box configuration. If only use the verify mail tool of scrapebox (no mass mailin, no spam) is there some risk of problem with my ISP, and some risk for my personnal IP ?

Thanks again

To check email addresses via port 25, you can use proxies that support SMTP or set up a VPS, for example, on DigitalOcean or Vultr. On the VPS, you need to install a mail server and configure it to work with SMTP. This will solve the issue with port 25 being blocked.

I would disagree with the above memeber. Most VPS providers I have used and talked to do in fact allow port 25 by default.

Also when you do email verification no emails are sent. That said, it does go thru the hand shake process to try and check if the email exists, so you can get the ip blocked by the email server on the other end, temporarily, but Ive not ever gotten a complaint against the VPS from it. That said, that doesnt mean its not possible to happen, but usually, in my experience the email server just blocks the ip.

You need to install scrapebox directly on the VPS. If you want to login and only use the license on the VPS you can do that and you do not need another license. I would probably start there.

Then if you want a 2nd license to also use on your local machine you can purchase that too.

I wouldn't think you would get into any problems with your ISP, Ive never heard of anyone having an issue there. Anything is possible, but you can just say your internet was hacked, or you had a stupid easy password on your wifi like "password" etc...

Then just quit doing it on the home ISP.

You need to contact your VPS provider and explain why you need to use port 25. Of course, you should provide a reasonable justification to persuade them.
