Good evening guys,
I am currently running some sites and the strange thing is that as much as i try i dont get indexed in local search at all. I have my site on 1st page 2nd place in dot com google, but in the local search it just won't show at all. Anybody can give me any suggestions on how to get this done?

Try to get a local listing by submitting to directories like Yelp. With the local address, in the listings, it is bound to show up.

For local businesses, you need to build citations and get backlinks from other local businesses. In addition to this, creating a Google+ local business page will help a bit as well.

Country based TLDs appear on local search results better than dot coms.

As well as adding your business to google maps and confirming it. Lacal related keywords in <title> are also useful, f.e. "My main keyword in my Company name in Country/State"

To get the best places for local rankings:

-->You should register your page in Google Maps and a business page.
-->Work with citations and get backlinks.
-->You can register your website on Social Networks based on Local business like Yelp and Swarm or tripadvisor
-->Include your city and state in most of your website's title tags
-->Always include your area code with your phone number
-->On your website, you must have an entire page or at least one part of your landing page in HTML, where you show your name, address, and phone number.

This are some tips that you can use to improve your position on Google based in Local Search. To have a better control of local social networks that will posicionate yourself to improve your local SEO, you should try Yext. This useful tool will show you where you should register your business.
