I'm a newbie when it comes to selling items on ebay, but why all of a sudden I'm getting fake accounts buying my items. This is the 2nd day in 2days, costing me over $35+ to relist the item!!! How can I prevent this?
You will find alot of it is todo with epn! Basically people are creating accounts through aff links and then bidding and winning to get their ACRUs and commissions. I have found that epn does not seem to reverse click value for these things because most people do not follow the non-payment proceedure and egay still get their money. If you report non-payers then you will get your listing fee's back so wont cost you anything other then your time and the pain in the ass!
limit people who can bid on your items based on their feedback, recent policy violations etc. you can find those options somewhere in your account can't remember where tho.
I think it's an option that's available as you create the listing - you can auto refuse people with a loe feedback rating - it's handy as it can save you the headache of filing non paying bidder with egay.
Their is no guaranty for that it will make sure deal or the product they are display that will be at the delivery time.
- Block the countries where mostly fake buyers coming from. - Block buyers without PayPal account. They might just creating eBay without linking the account to PayPal. It could be blocked. - Go to Resolution center and open case on 4th-day after the fake buyer purchased your item, you will get the Final Value Fee back to your account and loose nothing.
No, actually you cannot. The parameters that you can set for blocking buyers are actually ridiculously low. Luckily you can block whatever location(s) you want, but for feedback you can actually only block buyers with negative feedback and with like at least 4 policy violations in the past month. It's pretty absurd. :ugh2:
eBay has a method now for automated NPB cases, please use that, that is the best solution for you, at the same time, try to ban the users with zero feedback or the users who got a NPB in last 1 week / month or so
