Problem with Proxies

I recently tried to use residential proxies from Ashburn Proxies in Twitterdub, and out of 1100 accounts, only about 70 were actually able to log in using these proxies after multiple rounds of trying to generate new proxies. I verified that the failed accounts were not suspended, and log in perfectly without the proxies.

Is this something that occurs with all residential proxy providers, and I should continue generating new proxies until I have as many as I need, or should I switch proxy providers? If so, do you have any recommendations for proxy providers?

I think you need to try another provider, especially one that really focuses on selling residential proxies.
This is because the use cases are different.
In this case for twitter login and twitter scraping, right? so it's best to try it yourself to compare.
 
Definitely not normal.

Some if not most residential proxy services are not ethically sourced.
Meaning that the proxies are gotten from infected devices.

Thus, poor uptimes, slow connections and unreliability.


Find a better vendor.

Unfortunately, I discovered Ashburn Proxies from the Marketplace section. Is there a thread where users discuss the quality of these vendors and their experiences with them?
 
I have over 1000 accounts I need to assign proxies to. Statics are out of my price range.

Most residential proxies are rotating or dynamic. You should try static proxies.
 
Have you tried rotating proxy with multiple ports?

Statics (ISP) almost always are a cheaper option because it usually has unlimited bandwidth.

Whereas rotating/sticky residential proxies get charged per GB most of the time.

Let's say on average the price of 1 GB = 5$. Unless your single account does use less than ±33mb a day (30x33=990mb, almost 1 GB), static would seem to be the better option (let's say average price per IP for month is $3).
 
If you're running 1k accounts I think rotating residential proxies will be what you're looking for. You pay for the bandwidth but you have access to millions of IP's
 
With 1000+ accounts, rotating residential proxies would be your best choice, but you need to choose a proxy provider with a high success rate.
 
For 1k accounts you need mobile proxies bro quality T-Mobile ones. Idk why everyone saying residential, they are usually trash nowadays. I use smartproxy but you can also just make your own if you are running that many accounts. One mobile proxy can run pretty much unlimited accounts as long as you're managing fingerprints correctly and rotating IP. You don't need to rotate I for every account bc mobile carriers CGNAT, basically they do NAT at tower level so one IP address could be thousands of people
 
I tried static residential ips, they seem to work mostly a lot depends on the provider too.

Nope, but you can check out how long the shop's thread has been up, the number of comments, and the likes it's got. Sure, it’s not a guarantee, but there are some solid residential proxy suppliers there.

Also, I'll back velinxs's point for mobile proxies. They'll give you the rotation you need and a solid guarantee of clean IPs. Plus, mobile IPs are super natural for social media like Twitter.
 
You should try another provider. Look for static residential proxy with 0 fraud score, ask for a nice mix of all subnets so they will not get caught by twitter.

Message the various sellers in the marketplace and try some free trials until you find the best one for your usecase
 
Check out other proxy sellers on BHW, many of them provide users with a free trial
 
If you manage 1k accounts, you should use residential proxy, ISP and combine with antidetect browser to boost security
