Hello, I open this thread because I'm having problems indexing a niche site.
To understand the problem, let's imagine that the keyword I want to rank is Pokemon and other related keywords in internal pages.
- Pokemon (mydomain.com)
- Pokemon Blue (mydomain.com/pokemon-blue)
- Pokemon Yellow (midominio.com/pokemon-yellow)
The problem is that the home page is ranking for those secondary keywords instead of the specific pages, and after a few days the inner pages are ranking, and the home page is deindexed and so on indefinitely...
The Web is about nine months old and has about 400 organic daily visits but it's not indexed correctly.
- From the home page, I link to the specific pages with the exact anchor text
- I also have footer links with exact anchor text to the most relevant pages
What do you suggest?
