Hi all, I've ordered some kind of SEO or backlinking gig on Fiverr few days ago and today seller got my gig finished. After few hours i noticed that many new comments are coming. Problem is that they are obviously fake and they don't stop, i got around 2000 comments in few hours. True, i get shitload of traffic but comments are obviously fake and spun. What should i do? Should i approve ones that look legit just for seo or not? Some of them have website links at the end. I am newb with all this so....

It's not something unusual to get a lot of comments after you create some backlinks. I have a blog with 200k+ comments waiting to be approved but I don't really care too much about them since 99% of them are pure spam

Considering that all those comments came straight after you got the backlinks pointing to your site there is nothing to panic about , I wouldnt even touch the comments tab at this point

It just happens sometimes after you've gotten a boost in traffic. If the seller delivered the backlinks/traffic that you ordered then rate them for getting the job done (if they did what you hired them for) rather than for the comments. I get tons of spam comments like that naturally just when I am active with posting content or creating my own backlinks.

Do yourself a favor and pay for Akismet. It does an excellent job keeping the blog comment sluts away.
