Up until a few months ago I was able to use tags to gain thousands of followers and hundreds of likes for my pics. I am back at it again and it seems like IG slowed the process down, I use the same tags except I replaced ones that don't work anymore and I do not get any likes for awhile and when I do it's not hundreds.
I used to be able to put up the 30 most popular tags for the hell of it and instantly get likes, now I get 0.
it's like ig did something. My new accounts, old accounts, same thing.
Then I see people with less followers than me, same tags, they can put up a similar picture or even one of mine and they'll instantly gain likes and followers.
I thought I was experienced at this, why am I failing?
I know IG has changed a lot but this is strange as hell.

Reminding you I use around 20 sets of 30+ tags that are all active, not all most popular but not under a few thousand pics, definitely should be getting people. So there is a variety just doesn't seem to be working out.

Probably because a lot of the popular bots don't work any more and there aren't many people that know about the ones that do work.

It's nothing to do with bots.
I don't use bots and the followers I used to get were not bots but actual people that got me over $100 a day (on a bad day) in adsense clicks. Now it's more like $8 a day which I am not used to at all.

And there are still several working bots that everyone knows about so not sure why you say that. From what I remember there were only a couple good ones even back then.
If anything lack of bots would keep the spam down, it used to be reeally bad, sunglass ads everywhere in every niche.

This might sound stupid, but make sure your account isn't on private. I've got nothing else, sorry,:paranoid:

eh yeah, by default accounts aren't on private :( thanks tho

With Instagram, all your traffic is mobile, the same thing happened on Twitter a while back. The mobile interface isn't that conducive to people finding photos to like based on tags. Searching for photos based on tag is nothing I ever bother to do with my personal activity on social media. I don't think a lot of users do it either. Tag loading really hasn't been a fantastic strategy as of lately. On Instagram you can get away with it better than you can on Twitter.

All those accounts that get thousands of likes have thousands of real followers. Put out good content and invest in a lot of promotions/shoutouts and you'll see your followers and likes rise. Social media is less of a thing anyone can do now, it's basically an investment. If you can monetize you can buy accounts or pay to build one in hopes of profiting from it. Otherwise there isn't much room to get a popular account going on your own.

How do you invest in shoutouts? I usually just go for free shoutouts

I used to have a few accounts of 20k+ follows each doing that once in awhile

Yea I am down in profit now because I did decide to spend money assuming I'd get the kind of money I used to get with IG.

I paid $100 for instafire because I heard good things about it and the bot's main features never work and I've kept it updated every day. There are 3 admins and none of them reply back to you for support. Ever. Not on skype or email. No way of getting refunded.

Even with the like system the bot has it can get stuck on an error, forget what it's called but if you're not watching for it your accounts are banned guaranteed. Proxy or not.
Also using 2 threads one time no proxy the bot managed to get my mac address flagged from IG I had to change everything. Not just my IP.

Didn't post this thread to say that but thought it was worth saying.
Total BS on the no refunds.

I have some bots that still work well if you want. Pm me.

Really interested in the shoutout thing now

and I kinda think, now, that I've been using Gramblr to upload pics a lot, I think it's messing with the pictures some how. Tags show up with them but no likes are coming, then I go to IG directly and I get more likes. Very weird. Could be a coincidence.
