I register and add my signature in one of the most known greek forum "pr7" with some millions of indexing links to google.bing and so on.
i have create more than 350 topics "so my signature is on 350 topics" and i repley to more than 600 post "so my signature is on 600post" the past month.
This is in theory ..
But even so , google webmasters and ahfresh didn't find any of those links as dofo-llow or nofollow .. or perhaps they did find it but decide to ignore them . "hopefully bing has indexing them as do-follow"
Ofourse and i don't expect from google to index them all 1000 as new backlinks , but i except at least 1-2 ..
Any ideas ? any new update from google ? something helpfully ? i must wait longer perhaps ?

Are the links nofollow? how long have the links been live? Google sometimes takes time index back links.

the links are with bb code , as per my experience some times this type of links are nofollow and some do-follow .
about a month , maybe litle bit more.
yeah but sure google want some time to indexing them , but from 950 links i was expecting at least 1-2 links to be index ..

You have done any post? as some links get triggered to ******** after specific amount of posts.

yeah i did 350 post by my own . i want to beilive that are enought to trigered them as dofo-llow ...

The problem with what you're doing is that most signature backlinks are not just going to cut it.

In most cases, forums are so sick and tired of spammers joining them just to create signature backlinks that they have put a "no follow" tag on their signatures.

This doesn't mean that you should stop using forums as a backlink source.

The best way to use them however is to think outside the box.

The best way to use forums to build backlinks is to simply use them as springboards to create relationships that can lead to backlinks.

I've seen this happen many times.
In fact, I've done this before where I would answer people's questions and then people would PM me for follow up questions.

We develop a relationship and down the road they publish a guest post or an opinion piece or an interview of mine.

I get nice backlinks from niche-specific, high-value websites.

Best of all, since you are building backlinks due to relationships, you get direct traffic.

It's not like your contributed content is just going to be dumped on a page that nobody reads.

To me, this is the best way to get backlinks from forums.

Of course, it requires a significant investment of time and effort.

But given the quality of the links you're getting plus the value of the traffic you can attract, the time and effort are definitely worthwhile investments.

Check if your posts are indexed on google, if they are then they have the record of your signature. How are you checking if they are reporting your backlinks or not?
