Hi All,

Over the last few years (more than 10 years working with Facebook), I've never seen anything like it like I'm seeing now.

In summary, I have always seen a drop in reach, it is temporary that could last weeks or a month, sometimes when stop publish or changing the domain of the site, the problem solved, but behold, for more than a year I have been having a serious problem without solution and now it has reached the worst, 99% of the reach lost!

It all started in November 2023 when I started to receive week after week alerts of publication violations, I asked for an appeal and all the publications came back, after 2 months the reach dropped, publications usually reached 20-40 thousand people, they started to reach 10 thousand people, after a few more months in 2024, I started receiving alerts again about publications violations and receive one warning that my account was sending spam, all fake, facebook's algorithms and AI are crazy.... I also received a sexual content warning on my profile account for sharing a meme post on my profile in 2011 (over 10 years)

In the last few months my reach has dropped to between 1000 to 4000 people, and I've noticed that the reach has dropped on any page where I post.

When complaining to facebook support, they said that there was no vioaltion or problems, but it could be a "shadowban"... I was amazed, Facebook admitting that it applies shadowban... Support said they couldn't help me because Facebook support is changing at the end of the year and only the measurement and technical team could check and solve it.

After insistence and contacts, all they told me was that these punishments, as unfair as they were, were recorded on the pages and as I am the only administrator, what they suggested to me was to create a new account or put new people as an administrator on the account and that this would solve the problem... I've never seen anything like it, I haven't done it yet, because I know it's complicated to create a new account nowadays.

To make matters worse, in the last month the reach has dropped again, now it is around 500 to 1500 people per publication, this on a page with 1 million followers that has existed for 10 years and has always had a reach above 30 thousand people per publication and last year it was still at 20 to 30 thousand.

With this I wanted to know your opinion, if you know how I can solve it and whether or not I should follow the suggestion of the facebook team to get a new profile to manage the pages.

Thanks,

facebook is showing all signs of decay, it seems in ruins thanks to its bots, excessive restrictions and lower reach...if another big social media emerges, it seems FB will become a new MySpace in next decade

Yes, with the requirements of the law here in the European Union, I think that Facebook has put AI to analyze old and current content, and is punishing for everything and for nothing, worse than the law of the European Union provides that we have rights to complain in instances that do not even exist yet, despite the law already being in force.

Anyway, I don't know if I can solve this as they suggested or I'll still have to hire a lawyer and start a lawsuit claiming the right of the law.

Im also experiencing the same thing, and Facebook keeps on flagging posts from years ago

facebook is losing user interaction, it's simple, when we all do business on it, like a market, users will scroll past if they don't find it interesting, and with too many stores, there will be more choices

Thanks,
Facebook has been a poor performer for sellers in recent years. There are too many unresolved bugs and then penalties or cutoffs for genuine users. The platform should be easier to use and more accessible for newcomers.

As other platforms gradually become stronger, users have more choices, causing Facebook to gradually lose interaction. Is it time for Facebook to decline?

Facebook has become more difficult recently.
But it is still a popular platform and will hopefully stabilize soon.

Due to some new updates from meta and the appearance of short video features on other platforms such as YouTube and TikTok, the number of users accessing Facebook has decreased significantly. I think Facebook will improve more to retain users in the future.

Thanks,
The frequency of meta updates is quite frequent recently, it affects distribution and access to consumers, causing a sharp decrease in the performance of sellers.

The number of Facebook visitors has decreased significantly when too many errors occurred. Therefore, reach and sales performance also decline

Check the status of your page. To stay on the safe side, always work with different pages in different niches. From what I’ve observed, some pages lose reach while others gain more. I believe it depends on competition and a significant amount of luck.

Thanks,
Now that there are so many new competing platforms, it is natural that FB's interactions have decreased. However, for a page that has existed for 10 years, such a decrease in interactions is really unreasonable. You should re-study the content you post to increase its appeal.
