I've just started changing my images over so that they are linked from Amazon Sitestripe as opposed to downloading and reuploading to my site (I was recommended to do so). However, I notice this slows down the site speed and has crucially taken it from about 1.5 seconds to 2.4 on the first page I've tried it on. How do people combat this?
