I recently found an expired PR4 site (lets call it compii.com)
I found parts of it on archive.org and it was still indexed on google, so I recreated most of the indexed links from google. I based this on a WP installation. Since most content was from archive.org I didn't changed a single thing.
Later I found that it was a fake PR4 domain, and much of my content is similar or identical to the companyinc.com domain. However my content is in a wordpress format.
I do guess that my domain is an old project name of companyinc, or something similar.
My initial plan was just to kill all outgoing links from my site, and try to get some PR from it to one of my MNS.
My urgent problem now is that company.com done not have any SEO at all on their pages. I'm starting to catch up with their keywords (If they have any, since they have no SEO).
I don't think they have any SEO done at all, but I'm now starting to outrank them on lots of their sub pages. I'm also #12 on their company name.
I could redo the entire site, so it looks like I just happened to take their project name for my site. However its always nice to be on front page for keywords, so I'm not that eager to just drop the keywords I'm now outranking them with.
Right now I have their company logo on top of my site, i just sliced it to better fit my WP theme.
(The keywords I'm outranking them with only have 300-500 searches a month, and I'm still not in top 5, so not much to worry about. I'm currently playing with SB but haven't blasted this site yet.)
Sorry for the long post, but I'm still a newb looking for any advices.
BR,
Loreit
EDIT: Sorry for posting in wrong forum, was ment to be in Blackhat SEO. Please move if possible.
