Problem in sending PM on Facebook

Hi,
Little problem i am facing while sending the PM to Facebook user , when i send the shorten URL or Domain , it working fine from message section of facebook, but it do not work from the mail which user recive in notification of that mail.

Is there any way or formating we can use so a user can open it that url from email also.

Can you post the relevant part of the source of the email? While you probably see the shortened url displayed properly in the email, Facebook usually prepends all urls with its own urls (like facebook.com/c.php?vars) for tracking purposes.

Facebook now tracking all web link. so i think its now possible now.

it work fine well in chrome , and not in IE, may be some issue in the formation of URL forwarding .
