Hello everyone.
Could someone explain to me why my article no longer appears in Google search results, yet shows up in Google Image Search? Thanks.

Yeah, could be any number of things. A ranking drop, indexing/canonicalisation issue (what have you), algorithmic change, search intent mismatch, or even something specific to the query. The fact that the image still appears doesn't really tell you much about why the page disappeared from web results. Hard to say without more details, tbf.

Make sure your page is indexed first.
You can use the inspection tool

there could be several reasons like low quality content, search intent mismatch, or content that is already covered by many other sites so I would check indexing and GSC first.

It can happen if Google still indexes the images but has dropped the page from its main web results due to quality, relevance, indexing or ranking changes.

I’d check Search Console , URL Inspection, manual actions, indexing status, canonical tags and recent content/algorithm changes first.

First check if it's actually deindexed or just dropped in rankings. Search site:yourdomain.com/your-article-url in Google. If it shows up there, it's still indexed and only lost positions.

If it doesn't show, put the URL in Search Console URL inspection and see what it says. Could be a noindex or canonical issue, or Google just decided the page is low value and dropped it. Images get indexed on their own, so them still showing doesn't mean much.
