i do know there is no spoon feeding methods here, not all methods work for all.
and not all guides are a-zs either, sometimes half way through a method and there's something else you need to do before that, its a big web of methods and guides with no size fits all.

as for mentoring yes that is against forum policies but as you can see from other users no matter how much help you can do, if you dont take action you will be nowhere, i could have been a millionaire by now if i took action from day 1 non stop, but im all over the place at the moment got so many projects on.

there's enough information out there for someone to relate to.
come on you get people coming on and asking what niche they should do.

think newbies or anyone need to take their time and go round the site and look, which some do some don't.

sir vinku : that would be you assuming. i did not say "free"
sir blogzandstuff: so putting me on a good path would be a costly mistake and have a pitfall, i can understand that mate. cheers
sir Asif WILSON Khan: I ... nevermind, just no. my opinion is you are just saying alot of empty words. standard stuff, clichee

You have been a member for 21 days, apart from asking people for help, what pro-active steps have you taken?
Which sections have you researched?
Which threads did you read?
What methods have you tried?
My guess would be that you haven't done a thing because you were waiting for somebody to take you by the hand and spoonfeed you.

yup some senior members including mods, here are just pricks and the usual bootlickers (many of them posted stuff in this thread only lol), and the ones who think they are god and so on. But trust me there are some good members and you should have found shit ton of things. I am amazed you couldn't find threads on SEO by David, tommy, leith etc. They practically teach how to build sites by just writing content on them weekly or bi-weekly. That site brings in long tail traffic and you earn commission.

You know posting content is the easiest way of making money which has been posted here. So yeah some seniors are just delusional but you should have looked for those who do their bit to keep this forum working for beginners. I still don't believe you couldn't read stickes in blackhat seo or making money section.

I thought your OP was your last post, we get it... you're lazy.

Go be lazy elsewhere.

His post is about how members in general act, just like my initial post about how it’s important to remember many people come from Google and don’t understand the language, context, or forum etiquette.

Many members don’t speak an ounce of English and simply don’t know what’s expected of them. They may not be able to sift through hundreds of threads like native speakers can and being told that their threads are “shit”, having posts removed, being called out, infracted etc etc etc can scare people away.

Not that new members should be allowed to do what they want, but it’s worth considering.

Personally, I disagree with these comments, although yes, I agree that perhaps sometimes we can be more accepting of new members.

It's the responsibility of new members, however they may have reached the site, to learn the rules and etiquette of the forum. I would suggest that doing so is common sense and, quite frankly, common decency when you come to an existing community like this. It's not for existing members of a community to lower standards for newbies simply because of how they reached the site or because their English might not be perfect.

If new members arrive, blatantly break the rules and don't get called out for it then they will think it is an acceptable way to behave and continue to do so, which will result in a whole heap more shit posts on the forums in general. Yes, sometimes existing members could be nicer in pointing out these errors, and I agree with you there, but new members who run into these issues have to take responsibility for their own actions, read the rules and fit into the community, rather than expecting the community to work around them.

3 sections, 20+ threads, 2methods including advice from a pro who's name i will not say after i saw this cominity's torches and forks about "rules" :))
please, stop assuming or i will have to start assuming things about you too. i still haven't made this ugly error. we are both human, why did you?

I cannot find one by tommy or leith (or someone else) which is about posting content on your site (only post content) and earn commission from long tail traffic. Although it takes 5-6 months of writing (one 3000 word every week) to get things rolling and earn first dollar.

good example like: if it's cold in the room, nobody is forcing you to stay. (of course, don't close the window, it's winter outside) :)))
you are a funny man. there is a social university in my country that had at least 3 social debates on people with this mentality :) oh... let me tell you, there was irony quite a bit :p <but that ith none of my bitnith> ;)

1. Life is brutal, nobody will help you for some promise of % in future, are you crazy? What you can offer to him?
2. Mentoring is not allowed on forum and there is a purpose, you cannot messure that service, there would be many scams
3. If he don't want to do it, why are you luring him to skype or social? You imagine that he is jumping like crazy to just contact you and guide you?
Who are you? What you have done?

I think moderator should close this flame, everything has been said.

I mentioned this to DD in a PM and I actually saw talk of a “designated spoonfeeder” a while back in a suggestions thread (?) (maybe @Apricot can confirm that) but the forum can be a very hostile place for new members.

Yes, we're aware that the forum can be intimidating for new visitors and we're currently writing newbie guides. Alongside plans for a newbie section which'll have said guides in and targetted towards newbies discussing how to navigate the forum, we think this will go a long way to addressing the steep learning curve for newcomers to get used to the forum.

But, in general, I'd disagree with the generalisation that people here are hostile to new members. Most will answer the same question multiple times over to help someone get an idea of the subject they're asking about. Although, having said that, the community and the forum does have a very specific down-to-earth tone and our members don't tend to suffer fools gladly. So someone asking ridiculously broad or entitled questions or expecting to be spoonfed, isn't going to find the honest and direct nature of the forum particularly appealing.

yup some senior members including mods, here are just pricks and the usual bootlickers (many of them posted stuff in this thread only lol),

"I'm going to write a post saying that lots of people here are pricks and bootlickers, but my aggressiveness should not be interpreted as an indication that I'm a prick too."

why are you luring him
luring? cracked a huge laugh. so social media and chats are smething forbidden and punishable :)) luring. oh my, i must be the devil right? your words sound weird.

This forum can have a massive impact on your earning potential and could change your life, but it is up to you to grab the opportunity.
If you feel too buthurt that you need to leave then fine, that is your decision.
If you decide to stay then change your attitude and find something that interests you and MAKE it work.

OP - I just went through a bunch of your posts and you are asking for a lot of personal hand holding to earn in the IM world.

That is really not how that works as generally the only ones who make money in that situation is the guy selling the information. The reason being is that IM is sort of a personal thing as we all have a different thought process to one extent or another.

I shared once how I make money on FB and still use that method but have changed it up some as FB has morphed some.

I've seen other guys take that idea and do something that I would have never thought of and made nice money.

IM is a lot like golf. Some guys like to fade the ball, others like to draw the ball and some do both depending on the situation. Some golfers prefer a stiff shaft because they swing hard and others prefer a shaft that is not so stiff because their swing speed is slower.

I play with a Titleist ProV1 ball... I have a friend that prefers a Bridgestone ball. I can't move the ball like he can when I use a Bridgestone and he doesn't like the Titlest.

It's all still golf though.

IM is the same... you have to find what works for you and not what works for me in order to be successful.

i will not say after i saw this cominity's torches and forks about "rules"

What does this mean? You're saying that the forum rules are... equivalent to a witch hunt? Please structure your insults more coherently next time.

This thread is leaning towards what the OP did to warrant warnings. I don’t think that matters.

His post is about how members in general act, just like my initial post about how it’s important to remember many people come from Google and don’t understand the language, context, or forum etiquette.

When I joined the forum, I didn’t know a lot. I asked a lot of questions and that’s how I learnt what I know.

There’s a big difference between pointing someone in the right direction, actually spoonfeading them, and bluntly telling them to stop asking for help.

I don’t think any of this is related to my opinions of the staff, and I don’t appreciate passive-aggressive posts insinuating that, @BassTrackerBoats

It was a genuine comment on my behalf, as I know what it’s like to not know anything about IM or what forums are like. I’ve mentioned this in the past, both publicly and in private. It’s one of the reasons I post threads where I can helping - or ar least attempting to.

I’m sorry if you feel it was in any way geared towards the moderators but my intentions were just to make people more aware about other people’s point of view before shooting them down. I, too, am guilty of this and can do more.

@elavmunretea - I respect your contributions to the forum (god knows you have done more than I have) but on this issue, I wholeheartedly disagree with you.

Yes, this forum can be hostile to new people, especially as a lot of the new people are youngsters who have not experienced real life in any considerable way. However, I would say most... if not all, senior members of this forum run actual businesses. They are not teachers or Kindergarten babysitters - they donate their time and knowledge to newcomers.

Newbies forget that real life kicks you in the face sometimes. Welcome to the real world, sometimes we kick you in the face - get over it.

"I'm going to write a post saying that lots of people here are pricks and bootlickers, but my aggressiveness should not be interpreted as an indication that I'm a prick too."

How very well-behaved. I am assuming you really are a girl then? Someone else would just go one about ban him, kill him etc. lol.

Anywho op try amazon affiliate with long tail keywords should work and yeah the people you PMed, stay away from them. Most of them have rep for rules, rules, rules and blah blah blah. Otherwise they are just full of something else. But focus on those who add a lot of real value here. There are many.

you two guys, cheers. you restore faith
...and you are killing the faith in people, it's sad, you have received so many guides in this thread, from moderators and even administrator and still the same. Bass has made so long and educative post for you but you don't want to admit you are wrong.
