Anyone else thinking that PRT is on drugs just lately?

I only use the free plan as I usually only track one domain with a couple of keywords but this morning I checked my rankings and PRT says I am nowhere in bing & yahoo and my site has dropped to 64 in Google!

On checking each search engine manually I found my site in position 24 on Google and page 2 for both bing & yahoo!

PRT seems to have been like this for a few weeks now, reporting incorrectly.

Am I the only one??

Probably it was a temporary drop when the tracker was updating ranks? I had that problem numerous times.

Check again in a day or manually make it update.

Can someone recommend a similar tracker? I am using PRT too.

i don't have problems with PRT

I noticed a lot of weird things popping out of PRT.

From the updates coming sporadically (once every 48 hours sometimes), rankings not showing up when another service shows it's ranking, and manually checking from a fresh IP + cleaned cookies shows the site is ranking.

I used it for about a year and I dumped them a few weeks ago to goto Serpbook.

I thought about a temporary drop but bing and yahoo have been the same for about a week now.

Always, there is a slight variation in results between the tools and manual checking. As for as I know PRT is a good one.

PRT works just fine for me. What problems did you encounter?

Different trackers give different results depending upon what time they may have reported. Not a specific issue with PRT, I use them and its ok.

I also use PRT and it works fine on my side.

Apart from PRT, I use Accuranker. That works very well, too. I prefer Accuranker because of its design for example but that is just a personal thing. They both do well what they are supposed to do: show ranks of keywords :D

However if you personally encounter these problems again then maybe you should consider checking out some other SERP trackers: Serpbook, Accuranker etc. There are many good ones out there.

Never used it, but every rank tracker I have used always has some descrepencies every now and then.
