Pro/Cons and advice about my backlink profile

I started to create a backlink profile for my money website.
I look to link link <a href='https://example.com/'>keyword i would like to rank on</a>
or <a href='https://example.com/'>BrandedKeyWord</a>

I just need some advice and pro/cons about my backlink profile. All the backlinks are forum backlinks for gaming niche (and my website is not in the gaming niche). They are profile backlinks. Every forum has a topic/dedicated section about the niche i write. (Is this considerated relevancy, since on some of them i have lot of posts? from 100-4k posts).

That's your answer... you're building irrelevant crappy links.
Profile links from irrelevant forums... do you expect them to help?

Considering this, that on most of them i have around 100-4k posts and i've had posted several times in relevant category/topic to my niche (backlinks are also in my signature). This is what i would know if it helps.

the biggest con I can see is the exact match anchors. Just stick to branded / generic / URL anchors and if - though some miracle - you manage to rank with these low quality backlinks at least you won't get penalized for anchor text optimization (or whatever the penalty is called, I don't remember but it's an important one)

and yeah, the relevancy is there, you're good in this regard! The only problem is that these links might not get you anywhere, although... if you're active on those forums google might, somehow, see this and count those links for more than they're worth

Links is about relevancy. Getting one contextual link from a relevant website empowers your own by many folds compared to a bunch of irrelevant profile links.

Think from a natural way. You want links that have people clicking on it. The juice is there.

So most links from irrelevant profile won't even get clicks. Some SEO guru promotes such practice on YouTube and what not.

To be honest, spammy links help to a certain degree. After that, you need something more real.

So if you build profile links, let it be reasonable on sites like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc. Other less popular ones, don't bother.

You might as well spend your time finding relevant sites to pitch your guest posts to. It'll be more worth your time.
