Hey!
I have a friend that have a business and there is some scammers that buy different .com domainnames that matches his product. This have a chain of negative effects.

The police have closed down two earlier domains. But they are not able to track down the scammer. This is an international business with a physical product that require transport with semi trailers.

This is most likely too small for Interpol and too special for a small police station. So these guys are free to go. Each scam costs the buyers 10.000 USD. + the transport company drives to a location where there is no cargo waiting.

What can be done?

Check if registrar got local office in your country and take police to them to get real details about scammer.

There are a lot whois-history services. You can try check them
Also, you can try to find another footprints (signatures in doc or xls files, server signatures etc)

If you need someone found. I can do it.. but it wont be free.

BTW, this isn't an advertisement of my services and I usually hate those spamming pricks.. However, I Genuinely can help you. PM the domain name.

Even if the domain registrar removes the "Private" that doesn't mean the owners name will be present. They most likely put a fake registration there as well. People who want to be anon, usually take multiple steps.
