I know this has been talked about alot.

Although has anyone really talked about how this would work on a personal account? Such as a page with nothing but selfies? So a blog basicly.

I noticed mixed results. My best days(300-400 daily 3 times in row ) was when I went private. Other than that I haven't really noticed a difference.

My theory . Going private may or may not help increase follow back ratio. It will also possibly increase a chance for better engagment. You will get people who will unfollow when they don't like the page and you get people who will see your page again once they are notified you accepted. This will make it so it shows up under their feed more if they were to like photos after ?

You'd definitely end up getting better engagement since most bulk following accounts usually stay off the private accounts, and the other reasons which you've already mentioned.
Number of followers might see a decrease as compared to a public account for the same reason that bulk following accounts will not be following you.

Using public accounts would increase your follow-back ratio, all depends on the content you're posting.

I am thinking of private for selfie only pages(personal blogs). It seems to have mixed results .

So ...if my engagment is bad I should switch to private?

I'm very interesting in knowing the results of this too. Do you notice an increase in engagement as well as followers?

I noticed my personal(photos of me) , seems to be getting constantly better results.(based off 2 months of data of it being public). It may depend on how you style the page and your niche.

Now...lets see how it does 2-3 weeks on private
