Hi all, anyone doing performance checks on your private proxies? Like real bandwidth, number of connections allowed etc. If so, what tool do you use?

I'm using Scrapebox and, in order to arrive to a connection number balance, I'm trying to separate issues related to my ISP and issues related to the proxies. That's why I need a tool to tell me what kind of bandwidth my proxies allow, how many stable connections and the like. Would be generally a way to assess performance of newly purchased proxies, useful when you switch providers for instance.

Anyone that can help?

I'd also love to know that - I'm not an expert, it's just very difficult to judge the performance without knowing the details. I just did an experiment using 10 private and 50 public proxies to do a small trackback blast and public proxies brought more "found" entries.

I've used Charon before, but it's so far from the proxy checker in SB...

I had a look at Charon and it has a Speed column but it doesn't get populated by default and I'm not sure how to set it...

Dowser , maybe your private proxies are burnt with some of the websites you post to, that's why you get more founds with the public ones. Do you refresh proxy IPs every so often? Just an idea...

Hmm, it's filled on mine by default...I'm not sure what I did "wrong" :D

As I said - not all proxies that show fine on Charon are ok by SB checker...
