Hey,

So I've had a couple dozen Twitter accounts and have been slowly building them up.

I'm at the point now where I'm ready to scale, get a real bot and get 1,000 accounts. Have cash to spend to do so.

The point where it becomes really expensive is with proxies. It's just a tough pill to swallow that it may be $500/month to have these Twitter accounts. Is this really the best way, or can I risk it with public/scraped proxies somewhere? Or once it gets to the point where you're getting 300-400 proxies (assuming what some people are saying, that it's 2-3 proxies/account), is there a more cost-effective way to do things?

For what it's worth, the quality of tweets will be something similar to https://twitter.com/aus10test - nothing very spammy at all, I just want to be the one controlling the conversation.

Please, don't respond if you're a noob who doesn't have any idea.

Absolutely you need private proxies, otherwise your all accounts get banned in short time.

public proxies are unreliable and abused to hell, but they're free
private proxies are reliable and even if they aren't dedicated but shared, more than likely they aren't abused to hell, but they ain't free

does it worth the investment? it all boils down to one thing: how good are you at monetizing?!
if you suck at it, it will be money thrown out the window, but if you already make some money w/ the accs you have and that's why you want to expand, it could easily worth it

Are you able to make that money from buying proxies each month back? If you can, then go for it. If you don't then just build your current accounts up for now
