Private Network Question

As with everyone else, I have been looking into getting a network for myself..

I have a few questions if someone wouldn't mind helping me out!

1) I can find PR 2 domains with DA of 8-15 for pretty cheap. Usually under 20 dollars. If I build links to my blog after buying, does that make it stronger?

2) If I do build links, do they have to focused on keywords? Or can I build lots of safe links with generic and naked anchors etc?

3) Is a site with PR 3 and DA 20 and basically no backlinks useful if I can build links down the road?

1) Yeah, if you build links right.

2) They should be focused on some topic / niche, but not all links the same. If you simply build random links to your site you may be wasting your time or generating a penalty.

3) If it's a PR 3 then it has backlinks.

You would be suprised actually..I have been using moonsy to into domains and there are quite a few PR 3 sites with basically no backlinks..well at least not showing in the auction stats.

Can you give me an example of building links right? LOL Are you taking contexual stuff??

1 - No, Try to Build DA 20+ Domains and Maj TF 10+
2 -Focused on Long tail KW and Also Follow the Main KW
3 - Dont Use No backlinks Domains

1) I don't understand how more links wouldn't add juice to them?
2) I'm confused..you just said don't build links..then you said focus on long tail stuff?
3) Have you ever tried?
 
This is an awesome resource! Anybody else have input?

That's right, they're not showing. The links are there. There is no PR without links.

- Depending on the links you're building really. Point some good PR links and treat them as if they are your money site.

- IMO, links using hundreds of irrelevant anchors are useless. What's the point, really? Target relevant long tail keywords.

- Yes they are.

1. Yeah depending on what links you build and the history on the domain names. Check
the domains before you buy them.

2. They need to be diverse but relevant is best.

3. No way the PR can be that without backlinks so I am sure it has them.

Remember building a network takes plenty of work and time but
you will thank yourself later on.
 
DA 8-15??? That's pretty awful dude.

It's better to spend more money and get a domain DA15+ and PA25+

Even then it wouldn't be strong enough for my network.
