Hi,

Got a quick question for BHW seo experts. Been out of the seo game lately and need to refresh some stuff. Got a website targetting the Belgium market (google.be) and I was considering buying high PR network links from linksmanagement.com

You can check out these websites before you buy links from them but obviously most of them are US or Azian and none Belgain. How does the fact that all links will come foreign (niche unrelated) websites affact my website's rankings? Anyone experience with this?

I think these guys are the most over priced nonsense website around. I signed up to look at the links and they're complete garbage. I haven't read a nice review to date - except that one that looks like it was posted by them - although I would be interested to read a legitimate review. To be honest, you're MUCH better off buying high PR domains yourself then putting your links on them: at least that way you know they're not going anywhere.

You need a mixture of generic and niche related links from local and generic websites. A contextual link coming from a good quality domain would always work better for you. There are quite a few great services on this forum that you can use, without needing to overpay for anything.

I specifically remember one famous search engine disckshmidt mentioning, on one of his videos, that linksmanagement DOT com was 100% pure poison. Use at your own risk.

Yeah I saw that vid the day after I posted this question.. Changed the gameplan and ended up buying several high PR domains myself. But thanks for the warning!

I'm focused on ranking foreign keywords mostly and my experience is that you don't need backlinks from local sites at all. You can even use backlinks from korean or russian sites and still rank just fine on google.be

Just remember to use language meta tag in your html header and specify that you are targetting belgian audience in your webmaster tools. Ofcourse the easiest way to rank on googl.be is to get .be domain for your site. Then you don't have to specify anything in your webmaster tools.

Yes, go the PBN route and build your own. You can even buy foreign domains and link them to your site. They still pass link juice as long as they have good DA/PA

I would also recommend setting up your own pbn, which should help you improve your keyword rankings better. Avoid publicly advertised websites.
