Private Messaging, change some stetings PLEASE?

I'm sure I am not the only person who sends 20+ private messages each day, having this catchpa is making everything more annoying and slower. I understand the reasons behind it, but couldn't you just add a system?
1~100 posts, catchpa + 80 second wait
100~500 posts, 60 second wait
500+ posts, 30 second wait

I fully agree. For members that get a lot of PMs, this has turned into a nightmare everytime I have to answer people.

Maybe make it so more senior members only have to put the captcha in the first time, and there after you no longer have to, or disable the feature all together for certain people that are at a certain level.
 
IMO captcha should be only for new users or users with low (like <50) posts count. There is no point in sending PM spam if you are a normal user.

Also, captcha could be removed if you are PM'ing 1 person more then once (and receive replies too).

Decaptcha is the way to go anyway :D:D
 
How about no wait for Donors, Jr VIPs, and long term members?
 
Some threads are already made on this topic but our Mods must have taken this step wisely and may be they will surely change this rule if they will find no spam in the coming days!!
 
Post-count check won't be a good way as I see it.
Anyone wanting to PM spam the forum would just make their software (or another software if it's not one they've created themselves) post 50-100-200-whatever posts before sending out the PM's.
Of course the posts will be irrelevant and may get removed at some point - but starting the spamming at a time of day with no mods online would eliminate that problem for the spammer.

It might keep the worst noobs away though :)

Not really, 100 posts will take, 100*60 seconds to create, in that space of a time, a member will report the spammer to somebody else, who will delete / ban the account.

I agree. I am hating this entire thing.

I just hit enter only for it to stop and ask me to re enter. gr.
 
I agree, something should definitely be done about that. At least let us have some type of phone verification or something so that we have no more captchas and also make it for X amount of posts and donors..
