Private Message, How?

Do we need to upgrade our accounts or something? I've been spending 2 days trying to find the PM message button.

Click on profile >> Start conversation! Thats how a PM is sent..
 
just click in the member profile, like here in the name and click "Start a Conversation" and thats it! :)

Conversations
Conversations allow you to exchange messages with other members directly.

is the same as PM!
 
Yeah I was searching around and some people said it needed to be at least 50 + x amount of days since your acc has been created.

It's sad that I just found this out, I have been lurking for a year too unknowledgeable about some methods to post until recently.

You don't necessarily need to pm to get noticed anymore. If it's not some secret, you can use the @mention or the quote feature to "alert" any user, when you do any of that, a notification is sent by default.

Hey not 50days just need 50 posts to be able to send pm, just reply to threads that you read, before you know 50

Thanks for that, when ut was 50 it just challenged me to do more valuable contributing and it actually helped me learn faster :-) but 15 would help alot of newbies. P.p.s thanks for creating and sustaining this great community, i honestly look forward to becoming a Mod like btb and the likes :-)

15 posts and the button to start conversation still doesn't show up. Could someone clarify if the limit is still fixed at 15 (it could have reverted back to 50 due to an update related with changing the platform). Any help would be appreciated, I've been a lurker for 1yr plus, but now I really need to PM this one user.

EDIT: Nevermind, I can do it now.

Go to your inbox (to right) and hit start a new conversation.
