Private email service

Yo guys!

I was thinking about e-mail services and if they're private enough.. I have to use email a lot in my work and I think it's not so safe. Maybe there are blockchain based emails (as it is very popular these days) or decentralized ones? As I don't want anyone to have an access to my correspondence.

What email service do you use on the whole? I want to collect all pros and cons in order to choose the best service for me.

Self host your email server if privacy is the concern?
Or may be move to an EU based company. They are bound to be serious about privacy because of gdpr.

Personally, I use protonmail if you know this. I first read something about this security, because security plays a big role for me.

Umm well I'm not sure tbh. I work for an email marketing company in EU but that's not what you need. I will search for some when I'm back on my laptop. Stay tuned..

So it's impossible to lose any information from there? Is it user-friendly? And one more important thing is that I don't want to connect my phone number or another email to it.

of course. but there is a limited number of free mail. however, you can always buy a free place. You can read all about it at https://protonmail.com/

Another vote for proton mail. I use this for dirt. Use gmail for everything else.

I like the gmail functionality and that it's user-friendly but the thing that Google collects literally everything about us makes me feel crazy.
That's the main reason why I decided to change the service.

I can advise eclipso.eu as an alternative. works on the same principle as your mail.
