Private Blog Networks

Are there any private blog networks that still work. I used to own one that I just used for personal sites. This was really expensive to maintain and overkill for what I required (I didn't have a massive amount of sites to justify the expensive). I know blog networks are getting smashed by Google, but I also know they still work if not touting themselves on public forums.

Is there anyway to find under the radar networks for people who need some quality links, but don't want to build their own ones ? Is it worth trying to find these and if so, is there a place to hang out so I can get PM'd by people who have these

don't think thats what he means - those are hardly private

Private blog networks are pretty much the ONLY thing that still works like they flavor-of-the-month heyday $$$ social/etc phases.

The reason Google is coming down hard on them is because they work so well.

If you have the funds, use Iwriter for the content. Treat the sites like real websites. Host them on completely different servers.

Keep the network small and it will stay under the radar i believe.

I agree - go ahead and add some ads to them so they look real. Heck, you might even generate a buck or two to pay for hosting.

Depending on how they're run, networks in the BST section may in fact be private. A public network, if you ask me, is a network that anyone can join and never gets "sold out." Think of ALN. It was never going to be sold out because the sites were, in effect, bottomless. A private network is a closed loop. Once spots get filled, doors are closed and that's it. They're safe from infiltration.

PBN are still king. The question is finding them and gaining access to them..
