Private blog network, niggling issues

Hi guys I am about to embark on my own PBN but there are a couple of issues I am having that I need to get my head around.

I am going to be buying expired domains using domcop and domain miner company, is this a good way to find expired domains?

With regards to domian miner company, dont all the other sites like domcop do exactly the same thing as domain miner company ie scraping and finding soon to be expired or expired domains anyway?


With regards to my PBN what im trying to understand is this:

I have a brand new website that I will want to rank using my PBN's, On each of the expired domains I will be sure to host on different servers, pay for them using different debit cards family, friends etc, never link them, have unique hand written content, logos different cms's blah blah blah

What I dont get is, as the site is a brand new site with no links to it , if all of a sudden the expired domains I have purchased start linking to my site wont that be a massive footprint?

Wont google be able to pick up that the only sites that will be linking to my new site is from recently expired domains or am I just being paranoid?

Is there a way that google will be able to know that the domains were dropped and picked back up?

What will be the best way to link the pbn to my new site? Ie drip feeding the links over months, maybe making basic web 2.0 sites over a few months aswell to try and make it look more natural?

Yes it will. Start out with some natural links and some social signals. You certainly want to keep your linking strategy diversified.

Yes like said above use diversified linking.

I would drip feed them. The time span will depend on how many links you have. You don't want to hit your site with 50-100 PBN links in a day or two, but at the same time there is no need to drip 20 links over 2 months. Yes I agree with adding the 2.0 sites.

Firstly on getting domains, you can get them from anywhere really. Some people like to scrape for them, which takes time and resources. Others prefer to just buy them here on a sales thread for $50 a pop. As long as they have good metrics and authority of some degree then it does not really matter where or how you get them.

Yeah I agree that diversifying a little will help.

Set the site up and send some social signals and some other link types. Then start to drip feed your PBN links, maybe a couple a day or so (all depends on how many domains you are going to get in your PBN).

Thing is making the PBN look perfect is very hard to do, well maybe not hard but time consuming. I mix things up a little and use mainly scraped content, but manually build them and scan the content to make sure it is okay. Some will just have a few pages, others will have more.

This is all down to preference. I know people who play the numbers game and just set up domains as they can, with just a few pages of content, some just 1 pagers. Others setup smaller networks and set up bigger sites, making them look "real" with building them over time and taking longer to drop the links.

Both ways seem to work, but I am impatient and just throw sites up as I can, put a few pages of content and drop a link, then move on and forget about it.

What would be the benefit of using a software like domain miner or domripper?
Over paying for them on here or elsewhere, of course the price will be higher due to the companies selling them will mark them up, but Im still trying to understand the benefit of the using software at the moment.

They say you can find gems but don't the resellers do the same thing or even use the same software as well?

The benefit of using software is you can get domains for the price of registration as opposed to spending $30 or more from a reseller. So, if you are building a small pbn or have the money, I would go with a reseller.

I am one of the sellers of software (Expired Domain Miner from the Domain Mining Company) and I recommend crawling if you are looking for a lot of expired domains or don't have the money to pay the resellers. Plus there is a learning curve.

And yes the resellers use my software or have developed something similar.

There are sellers of domains on this site, you can start off with them till you gain sufficient experience in ranking sites. You are thinking too much about Google, you can link out straight away using your PBNs but go slow. However, diversifying your link profile is nowadays extremely important.

A couple of things.

1. You are being slightly paranoid
2. Don't worry about switching up the credit cards on your different hosting accounts. Just make sure you are using safe neighborhood shared IP's (think Go Daddy, Host Gator, etc.)
3. Domcop works fine. ExpiredDomains is another free tool of value. I would focus on domains that are DA20+ CF20(URL)+ TF20(URL)+ at a minimum. You can also buy them from Managed Admin.
4. If you add the links at a slow pace you should be fine. If we are rolling out a large campaign we will usually issue a press release at the same time we start the linking in order to blend the links.
5. Have fun, learn some more lessons along the way.

Yep a bit paro lol, the thing with me is I like to teach myself so I can be independent and not relying on others.

I am really thinking of getting either domain miner or domripper or domain fisher.

Have you guys used any of these softwares?

I think in the long run I might be able to find some really high quality domains in many niches.
