Private blog network and anchor text

Hi guys,

so I am building my own private blog network from bought expired domains just for my one own money site. Its very demanding, because i need many hours just to add one site to the network and it costs a lot too (i have bought sites for 100 USD, every site has its own hosting etc.). So here comes the question - what kind of anchor text should i use? I just use the name of my website or the naked url (+variations), but somehow i have the feeling, that maybe i should use also exact match keywords? Please take into account, that i do very few of those links and they are very costly! I have like 10 sites at the moment...

Second question - i just make 1 link from each site to my money site. Is that be enough, or can i make a second link to my site from the same site? Doest it help?

1. I dont know how you manage to buy that costly site...but as you have not mentioned the PR of the site, So i cant comment on that part.

2. You must use "Exact" Anchored Keyword for your campaign.

3. One link from a site is good enough if they are really good sites.
 
1. They are mainly very good PR4 sites (with very good backlinks, absolutely no spam)
2. Uh, so I should just use only exact match keywords? Cant that be a problem?

1. Cool..

2. You said you have only 10 sites..10 exact anchor links are Okay..You can have some other basic link for other variation of your keyword.
 
Yes, i do have other forms of backlinks too, so the exact match keywords will be "diluted" by the other links.
Another question - do you think it would be wise to go back and edit the anchor text on those websites if the articles with link are already published?
 
if you have placed 1/2 naked or other keywords its fine, You need not to go back for 1/2 links. But if you have used like only 4/5 Exact anchors..You can go and edit them...
 
Go for the exact/partial match, get all the other anchors covered through other links.
 
Ok, thank you guys. I have gone back to the old articles and edited the keywords from naked urls to exact match keywords. I am using serpbook, so i am eager to watch the serps after this change, i will keep you informed :).
 
Don't go for the exact anchor text everywhere, vary it a little bit to remain on the safer side.
 
Ok, lets say for example my keyword is "car insurance". I will use exact match keyword on 5 websites and on the remaining 5 i will use keywords like "cheapest car insurance" "car insurance online" etc. Would that be a good solution?

By the way, whats your opinion on creating 2 links from the same website pointed to the same website? I mean if it would bring something to add another article with another anchor text pointed to my money site from the bought domain? Or is 1 link enough?
 
jumkor and aka sam, how should the websites in the blog network be connected to each other?

1. Approximately how many links between each one?

2. Are all the sites connected to all the other sites?

3. Should there be backlinks and other tiers for each of the sites in the blog network?

Better buy the milk from the shop if you live in the city, better not to open dairy farm. If you live in village and all what is left in your life is dairy farming the go for it, more likely get advice from one who is already in business. They wont eat you up, some would feel comfortable in telling telling you at-least one good thing, collect info and make a recipe yourself and get yourself going.
 
standsfield - its tempting to interlink the websites in the network but i dont do that. Because your whole network can be taken down in one hit (and thats painful if you invested a lot of money and time into it). Thats why I am buying expired domains - each domain has already enough links, i dont need to interlink them to get a small benefit from it (or maybe not that small, but it doesnt matter) while taking a such large risk.
