Privacy Policy Help

What do you all do for privacy policies on your sites? Seems like every country and/or state has their own law now. Accounting for every single country and/or state just isn't feasible.

I've looked at just adding a boiler plate policy to my site, but I figured I'd ask here first.

I put that the privacy policy is applicable worldwide, but first and foremost, it is held accountable to laws in {insert your country}.

Say somewhere that you comply with all data protection laws worldwide. Don't unreasonably store data, and your ok for most e-commerce and blog sites. anything a bit more complex like software, and although similar applies, it should be more detailed like other ones you read.

Chat gpt does a good job at a barebones template to work from I feel.
