Hey guys, I have seen a lot of threads over here regarding print on demand and dropshipping the apparels directly to the customer. The problem I see over here is selecting the best POD website as most charge a really high rate so the profit margin will be really less for you as a retailer.

So I run a local POD business with the help of only 5 employees and we are mainly focusing on bulk products regarding social events. And I have to say that I make some profits out of it. I am using a DTG printer with careful inspection of the material before printing. And the cost of producing the final product for me will only be 5$ as I live in India .

What I am asking is would you buy the products ? The only problem will be the shipping charges and it depends according to the country. Let me know what you mates think of this.

Cheers!

To sell over here you have to upgrade your membership. Maybe its good for you selling to other indians, but I guess when it comes to the US or Europe there are many big players (even Amazon) providing a POD service.
Alright but I am not trying to sell I am asking if it's a good idea as I can sell tshirts for a really low rate i.e 5$

It depends if you are satisfied with the price or not.

Im having the same issue. Way too many POD platforms there and is a bit overwhelming for me right now.

I just got my Merch by Amazon account closed due to inactivity and my Redbubble account gets getting closed to. Im guessing my designs aren´t their cup of tea (Funny & Sarcastic Quotes :D :p)

I can´t start POD integrating it with apps like printful and printify because i can´t afford to fullfil the incoming orders so i need something free at the moment.

I´m starting with Teespring and it appears to be a winner for me but i don´t like the fact my customers will have to wait till the campaign is over (3 days) for their orders to go into printing.

Is there any other POD platform like Teespring that is free to join, i don´t have to fullfil orders, items/products quality are good and the shipping is acceptable?

I hear a lot of complaints for TeePublic regarding clothes quality and their royalties are really low in comparisson($4 for a $20 t-shirt and $2 for their retail ones).

Any advice is deeply appreciated!
