How much do you think it would cost to have a game developed by a professional creation studio?

A platform game for xbox or ps3.

    Thanks

Depends on the graphics and the costs of the developers. I'd say the prices range from $XX,XXX to $XXX,XXX for a professional game.

    My bad, sir.
Still the list is enough to get an idea of what it costs to develop a "professional" game per se.

Well, let's calculate how we do the game.
Let's assume that the studio is not AAA, but nevertheless professional. Also we'll assume that they are able to work quite fast and the game will be developed in a 1.5 years.
So, the wages of personal will be 20 personnel*$4000*18 month = $1 440 000. This is conservative sum, usually they will earn two times more, $4000 in average is nothing. Add taxed, add office rent, add profit of the studio.
The sum will be about $5-$10M. Without distribution, ads etc. This is conservative sum for game which can be completed in 1.5 years with small team.

A good/experienced game programmer will cost you minimum $3000-3500 monthly. Assuming you want to make a decent game with quality graphics, account cost of graphics and sound to $5k-$10k ( it can be outsourced for a one time cost).

Assuming that at least 6 months of programming is needed to code a quality game with 10-20 levels, you can do the math now.

    Programming cost = 21,000$

    Graphics cost = 10,000$

Addl Misc Costs(project mgmt tools, development software, game libraries)= 10,000$

Software Testing(get the game tested via a crowd sourced service like usertesting.com, before you do a public launch, this saves a lot of headache and bad feedback on app stores as per my personal experience. First impression is the last impression for many users.) = $5000-10,000

Cost Over-run(normally happens in all development projects, including gaming projects ) = $5000

This would get you something like angry birds, candy crush or similar popular games in any/all platforms.
