This has been happening to me as well. I get an average of 5 PMs a day that I reply to, and the captcha is driving me nuts. Especially ReCaptcha!
I understand the need for captcha, and I also understand it is being worked on.
However, I just wanted to chime in and say it would be awesome if it was removed for replies because every time I send a PM, I would say 95% of them are simple replies.
Maybe a certain post count as well, but I am just mostly concerned about replies as this is most if not nearly all of what I do.

EDIT: Also, I do not know if anyone else is experiencing this, but when first trying to reply to a PM, the captcha is not displayed. You first have to click the submit button, and then it reloads the page saying you have to enter the captcha before sending your reply (which was previously nonexistent upon the first attempt to reply). This is turn makes the ReCaptcha image harder to solve and you must wait at least 60 seconds to actually send your PM.
Please understand, I am not complaining, and although I am sure I am not the only one this is happening to (on replies only), I just wanted it to be put out there so it can be fixed because I know things are being worked on. I love this forum, so if I have to endure it for however long, that's cool; once again, just putting it out there!
