Prettylink question

Quick question:

I am considering signing up for an affiliate program (Bluehost), in the TOS it says "The use of redirected pages and links to send a user to our site is prohibited. Example: you may not have a PPC link on a search engine that redirects the user to our site."

What I am trying to do is put a Prettylink (Wordpress plugin) in my youtube video description which when clicked goes to my site then to the affiliate homepage.

Do you think I would get banned from youtube or the bluehost affiliate program for this? I have seen some really popular bloggers doing this exact same thing with this affiliate program / prettylink on their videos and they seem to be ok.

Let's say it's at least risky to do it. In the end it's all about the conversion rates you achieve. If nobody ever buys something through your links you might get some problems because you are seen as a spammer.

Ask yourself why some of the "popular" bloggers are allowed to do it while it's prohibited...

I wouldn't do it. Especially if you risk losing accounts.

You have to spoof the referrer and from what I understand Prettylink dose do that.
