What are your thoughts on Press Releases (SEO aspect) for Amazon and other micro site?
I haven't tested these links in a while :/ and Google has been aggressive lately (don't want to test something blindly rn)

Would really like to know if someone has boosted rankings with Press Releases (in recent times)

Also, link down some good gigs that worked for your sites!

i bought a couple of services from BHW that claims posting on popular news domains. However the issue is all those pages where my press release appeared were NOINDEX. Out of 300 sites, only 10 or so allowed the google to index the press release. So from SEO perspective its useless.

Tbh, I hate buying services where backlinks never index

umm yeah. no one does.

most of these press release aggregating sites are using NOINDEX tags for google.

Building backlink by press release is a wrong thought because most of them are not indexed by google.

But Press release services are useful for getting brand visibility to viewers.

The poll lacks the 4th option and that's: No effect.

I personally never got any positive increase from Press Release to be honest.

I use them mostly for diversity. Anchor text and nofollow/********

Alternatively, they can bring direct traffic if they're genuine.
