Press releases for affiliate site??

I don't know about other affiliates, but the press release I get is about discount on a new product, say "Sony" just released a new headphone (just an example), I rewrite the PR in my own words and then do a quick product review which I will link to the discount page if anyone want to read more. Once the discount news dies out, the review would be the one ranking.
