Premium Video Downloads

Hey everyone, I'm really sorry if this thread has been posted in the wrong section.

For the past few months I've been trying to download video from Premium Websites: nbcsports dot come /live-extra
I literally installed sooo many software's yet still came back to square one and have literally lost hope.
But I remembered about this awesome website that has managed to help me out in the past.

Once again I return, asking the wonderful community for help.
I would like to download live streams or let's say streams from NBC Sports.
I've been told it uses some sort of AdobeHDS that has been almost really difficult to break as protection is really high.

Surely, there is someone out there that is able to download/capture streams.

Please someone share some light.

I don't really understand. you've used several screen recording softwares or just websites?
Personally, i would recommend you try using Movavi, they're among the very BEST and can literally break into any kind of protection.

Hey wisdomkid, I've used screen capture softwares but they have proven to be a waste of time. I will try out Movavi fingers crossed.

Well you may not like the solution, and neither will anyone in these publishing industries, but of course the best possible resolution would be something of the following design:

1. Film A Large High-Definition TV Displaying The Event You Want To Watch.
This is optional in terms of size and definition. Of course I have no idea what you intend to do with these recordings, so perhaps there are other options that are cheaper and simpler such as filming the computer monitor, or a laptop screen displaying the content. I am talking about recording this with a high definition camera or camcorder.

2. Feed the camera signal directly into a processing device - perhaps ideally a mac pro. Of course budgetary constraints, and quality considerations do come into play here, so even if you have to process it on a mid-range laptop, you'll still have decent overall quality video footage to work with. You might need to transcode the stream or you might want to depending on your exact usage scenario.

Of course it seems pretty clear there is a reason you have run into these problems thus far, and that reason is that NBC is quite particular about where, when, and how people can consume their products. Even your innocuous usage scenario of "simply wanting the recordings" doesn't play when companies go to such lengths to protect their products. Then simply the act of attempting to circumvent it via the external recording mechanism is a serious leap into jeapordy.

Be sure you know what you're doing out there.

Use StreamTransport. Just copy the url where the video is located, paste it in StreamTransport, click Start, it will capture the stream url, click on it and hit Download. Wait for a while and it's done!

Hey Bling thanks for reply. I am checking it out now. Video seems to be loading but has been almost 7 minutes but still no progress...

No streams on the website are loading for me, but you could try using Fiddler to monitor your traffic and get the url.

Few seconds after you click Start it should show you the stream url in the lower window. Click on it, click Download, it will start downloading. When you see the total megabytes downloaded number stop, it means it is downloaded.

Thanks for reply Bling, unfortunately it did not work. The software kept on crashing and now looks like the developer has stopped fixing issues.
