Prelaunch / SEO Jacking Content Creation

I'm finding sites that show items that have launch dates (digital items) but don't give any promotional materials. If I create a domain like productreview.com how am I going to review a product that isn't even out yet? Yet alone don't have any graphics or promotional material for.

I'm guessing that people who advertise (create a domain) on a product for SEO placings just put up a bullshit review and then purchase it when it launches. Then go back in and put an actual review with a buy now button.

I tried to search for pre-launch / seo jacking threads but the only one I found is from that money mindset guy. Any other resources out there? Yes, I could Google it, but let's be honest no one has content like BHW.
