Thank you for your clarification, was my thought in the beginning that the videos must be submitted but that popups the next question in my mind, how did you grew your channel in the beginning since i guess no youtuber will submit his content to a small community channel.

I see several of these types of channels that have partner status with external groups, so they fly under the radar a bit, and I believe their partnership status grants them access to this content. Not all of them of course, but several of these guys are smart enough to join a network, and leverage the existing assets those networks provide, i.e. content and ad partnerships.

That's the model to try perhaps as opposed to monetizing with adsense content which is simply garbled or spun or otherwise re-mixed.

I use social media. All the same techniques that people use to promote their websites, I use to recruit content creators. Being that I offer a free platform for free exposure, nearly every video creator in my following is happy to submit their videos for me to share.

Most of the community channel creators seem to drive most of their traffic from their own personal channels it seems.

The first 50 uploads were my own videos. I botted hundreds of likes and comments to them and used AddMeFast to get a few thousand subscribers. Once I established that false sense of authority, I started promoting it as a free platform on Twitter for other creators to post to. I continued botting fake likes and comments to the submitted videos at the start, but eventually enough real viewers showed up to the point where I didn't have to anymore. It has been all uphill ever since and all I have to do is schedule the uploads now. Fake it till you make it.

I cringe when I read "prank" from a youtube video.

I'm not much of a grammar nazi, but if I tip a waiter 100$ and film it, I've made a "prank" video according to some YouTubers.

Social experiments? Potentially acceptable. Prank? Not even close.

Isn't this similar to those huge channels that create vine compilations? I mean.. That's basically stealing others content as well and I see some channels have more than 500k subs for these.. How the hell are they not banned? Lol
