Hey everyone! I've got some tips on how you can take advantage of paid programming on tv!
1. Have you ever flipped through channels at night or in the morning and seen people advertising? It usually says "Paid Programming" as the show title. Often, after these programs air on tv, hundreds and sometimes even thousands of people go online and search for these products.
You can make money from this by selecting a product that airs on one of these programs and making a review site. Set up a quick squidoo lens or hubpage. Even if the product doesn't have an affiliate program, bash the product and recommend another.
Here's an example:
2. The TV Guide channel is always advertising something. At the bottom half of the screen they scroll tv listings, but at the top, someone is usually advertising. Take a minute and check the TV guide for a product they're advertising today. Do the same thing above. Make a hubpage or lens bashing the product and recommend an alternative with your affiliate link.
3. OPRAH!!! If Oprah told her audience to eat their own poop, they would. So whenever she recommends something or mentions a new issue, people instantly begin searching it on the web. Again, follow the same process as stated in #1.
You won't see constant traffic. Instead, you'll get large surges of traffic. These surges usually occur after the program has aired.
