PR Update Today 05/03/2012

Two of my sites got PR update. Went from PR 1 to PR 4 on both of them.
 
All my sites were PR0, and they remain the same...so no worries here
 
My money site were hit by Penguin from top 3 to page 2

Today I checked PR0 - PR1 and im back on page 1 again top 5

I haven't seen any updates on any of my 250+ sites, weird.
 
Checked a dozen of my sites nothing yet.

No benefit. Before you could sell links but G is not into that anymore.
For me, no change for my about 65 sites except one that went from PR3 to PR2. It has an average of 10-11 uniques/day. Since PR2 yesterday, it had 25 uniques. Happy to have lost 1 level...
 
most of my sites went from from pr 0 to pr1 and some went from pr0 to pr2

The deciding factor was how much written content I had. For example, one site has about 1000 pages, but they are all very short blog posts (less then 100 words) This site went from pr 0 to pr 1

Another site had about 20 pages with 500-800 word articles on them and it went from pr0 to pr2

The first site ranks better, has more backlinks, and gets more traffic so I have to assume that this update focused a lot on unique content.
 
Nothing for me left there ? :( PR0 didn't hit by awkward penguin
 
My brick and mortar site went from 0 to 4 ?
Only couple of links that i know off and they are not PR 5 or more..

But i the bounce rate is not too high i guess, on average people spend 5 minutes on the site and view 5 pages.
Minimum SEO, keywords in URL, bit intext linking, H1-s. No H2, meta stuff, alt's etc.
All the pages are one click away from the index so PR is evenly distributed, about 100 pages or a bit less. Original content (written by employees about their services)
Domain is about 2 months old.
 
I noticed some domains dropping from pr5 to pr3 :s
 
Two of my site went from PR0->PR1 but one of them got dropped for its main keywords...
 
All of mine have not moved.
 
Money site from 2 > 3
and now a site which is built this month and is only a few HTML pages with no backlinks at all and very bad ranking for his niche
from 0 > 3 google WTF are you doing :(
 
brand new emd .co pr n/a to 5 i'm still in shock site only went up in april and has just 1 950 word post 1% kw density. however it's position in the serps hasn't really improved dropped approx 1 spot for each of the main keywords.
 
Main site: Pr0->Pr1
Most popular inner page on main site: Pr0 -> Pr2

I'll take it...
