Is is just me whose sites haven't changed, or should we have seen a PR update earlier this week?

I think I heard it should be in a couple days around July 10th.

Hope so it is soon. I have seen some sites which has some changes in there pr.
Google update should be soon it can be anytime.

I am also waiting for PR update... My sites has gone in major changes after last PR update and expecting good PR this time. I heard it was going to be by July end but not sure... Although i saw some sites which had update in their PR around 15-20 days back...

My site is "stuck" at PR4 for a while now. The last updates did not change the pr, so i guess i can not easily go higher? (backlinking does not seem to change) is PR5 a barrier which is hard to reach?

LOL i am also on PR 3 and PR 4 on two of my main sites... It's tough to go for PR 5 but it's possible...

PR 3 site: - Had 2-3k backlinks in last update, now around 14k... Got daily content update and now going to break in top 100k sites in alexa rank with in next few days... I am hoping it should get PR 5 if not 6 :) by next update... It's ranking for several keywords so getting decent traffic......

PR 4 site: - Had 4-5k backlinks in last update, now around 19k... Got daily update, few days back included in Google news, Alexa ranking improving, with in 1.5 month it's under 325k from 850k... I am hoping it could be PR 6 by next update....... Ranking for several keywords and getting decent traffic...

If your backlinks are not increasing that means some thing wrong with promotion, may be your old links are getting deleted and your new links are taking place of them... It means you need to concentrate on permanent link building... Best PR i have achieved so far is PR 5 so i am also keeping my fingers crossed this time....

i had an update on my site like 2 weeks ago..... just noticed yesterday

The money from Pr3-Pr4 to Pr5 is so much. Mass producing websites to Pr 5 could be worth alot of money if your found a formula that works.

Thats why they call me Einstein

In the new google you can own #1 once you reach a minimum of PR3...

moving from PR6 to PR7 is the vast expanse in my opinion... hardest transition to make. Almost always requires going viral with content.

NO ONE CARES ABOUT PR.

THE ONLY THING PR IS GOOD FOR IS SELLING LINKS TO NEWBIES THAT DO NOT KNOW THAT PR IS USELESS.

Its about relevance people, get with the times!

That's not true... It just not the top factor anymore... Its 4th on the list and you only need PR3 or higher to be in the running for #1 with other factors, so it's less important than it used to be... It is also a good relative measurement of what "good links" are every time you find a site with far fewer backlinks and much higher PR. So if you value your time and efficiency in linkbuilding then you probably still value PR. I also find that in general PR like alexa rank is a better than 60% relative indicator of a site's traffic. When the two are in agreement it helps to make a better case.

It can be a really good tool if you know how and why to use it.

I just checked all my 60 blogs and none of their PR has changed. I kept updating them and getting more backlinks, so some of them will surely increase in PR

Within few days, We will se new major updates. This is the correct time.

Before your pr update. you'll see the change in google indexed and backlink of your site.
good luck to you all.

PR updates really only matter for link sellers anyways. Sure, it's nice to see progress via the pagerank, but it's updated pretty much constantly by Google for their algo. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to the update as well.

The page rank update was last week (7-10 days ago). If your site's page rank didn't change, then that means better luck next time when they do it again in 3 months.
