I signed up

they let you enter your own html and I think the fact that you can put in backlinks has less to do with their not knowing about SEO than any potential problems with the backline (obviously any site with a pr of 8 knows a little something... lol. maybe they dont care?

according to the pr checker extension in my chrome browser you guys are correct. The profile page I just created has a PR of 0. Thanks for the share though!

Just created a profile in there. Super quick and easy, they even allow you to input your about me with HTML in there right before email activation. Nice share.

It's useful if you add more backlinks to your profile page, otherwise mostly worthless.

Yes. It's PR0 now, but in a few months it might be a PR1 or a PR2.... link juice...

no it won't. unless you actually build backlinks to it, there are far more chances to stay PR0 than become PR1. Unless you actually post threads and stuff which get traction AND your profile link is not nofollowed (like on many platforms).

well... just checked it - there are some PR 2-5 profiles on this site , but they are the most connected users.

furthermore - you can insert HTML and the links are d0 follow but any script tags, div tags run overs or on-error tricks won't work ..
( if you find a trick that works , please share )

So, did you expect a PR7 page to drop a link? You won't get anything like this for free.

The logic behind profile backlinks is to get a link from a high PR domain, the actual PR of the profile pages will be 0 of course.
