PPC Vs. FB Ads Vs. Email Blasts

Not sure if this is the right section or not but heres my question.

I'm trying to reach restaurant owners across the US and Canada, I've been looking into doing direct email marketing with a few companies that have good lists and do the emailing for me, or I was thinking of Adwords or FB Ads.

Can anyone tell me if Email marketing still works, even if I had to follow up with a call or would I be better off spending the same budget on PPC ads. If PPC ads would it be better for FB ads or Adwords. Thanks

If you are targeting really well and know what your potential clients would search for then I would suggest adwords all day as well as bing. If you're not sure what they would search for and want to get their attention then go for fb ads. You can still keyword target in fb of course, but a lot of times you aren't hitting the right people.
 
Also, fb likes to give you fake/bot clicks to the tune of around 10-20%.
 
Why can't you try all the above? Each one has its own advantage so if you can't decide which one to pick then I would try each one.
 
As regarding with PPC and Fb ads, i had different experiences in different niche(s), for some, adwords does work, while for some bing does. ROI is different on both platforms, and with Facebook, i will recommend to make a brief research because facebook advertising doesnt work well with every niche.
 
It's funny to think back in 2007-2009 all platforms were really easy to make money on since they still welcomed affiliates and approved most campaigns. If you're having trouble getting ads approved on adwords or fb then try switching your ads and landers to have a more brick and mortar business type feel. Adding a toll-free customer service number and p.o box on the lander helps. Have an About Us and Our Staff page. You will find that they will treat you so much differently if they think you're a regular business. I ran some tests awhile back on fb by creating ads I know will get disapproved if I ran straight to the offer but instead linked them to either a real business's website or a fake one I made. They approved all of them, so try that out if you're seeing a lot of disapproved ads.

+1 plus add a privacy policy to your sites and footer. That helps as well.
 
I think it all depends on the niches of your products or the products that you intend to promote.

For me, I prefer PPC because the traffic is very targeted - the searchers search about your keywords and find you, during that, the buy motivation is very high. Unlike Facebook, it targets by interest but most of the audience are not motivated to buy at the time (unless you promote at the right time, of course).
 
This is so very true. Just did this with a few campaigns and made a big difference.
