PPC In Software?

Hey everyone,

I'm a software developer and I'm thinking of releasing my software for free, and trying to monetize via PPC ads embedded in the software. I reviewed the Adsense TOS and it seems they don't allow you to embed their ads in your software, so I have to move to someone else. What do you guys suggest? Surely there has to be an ad platform that is geared towards this type of advertisement.

Release a lite version for free and sell the advanced version. If your software is worth it, people will buy and you'll make more money with that.

Thats the plan. In the lite version, I'd like to have ads, though. I'd rather provide a functional program for free users with a little bit of money coming in via ads, with the option to get an extended version that removes ads than have a half-working program, if you know what I mean. I'd like to make a few dollars via both means.

There has to be a platform geared towards this. I've seen it in various programs that are not geared towards SEO, but the ad only opens the link from the ad and it does not say the platform they are using. Someone here has to know.
