hello ppc gurus...

I have been reading alot on this forum about blogging and stuff...but ppc has caught my attention and I think I am going to give it a try...

but before I need your tips on what is the best combination of PPC softwares...

I have heard of speedppc and (something)junky go well together...I will definitely look into that but I would appreciate if you suggested some other tips.

Do you have a proper amount of money to get started??? PPC is not cheap this days...

how much money do you recommend...I only have $50 for google and $25 for yahoo...

I know you can get vouchers or coupon codes that you can add...

I think vouchers or coupon codes are mostly for new accounts....

speed ppc is good. i started with ppc coach. u do all the modules and you will be an advanced ppc guy.

I started my first campaign yesterday...I went for content network with 9 image ads and 1 text ad and bid 0.02 for CPC...my text ad got approved but my image are still pending review...but my text ad is not running even though it is approved...i checked the keywords and it said "no" in the showing ad...I emailed them a few hours ago and waiting on their response...I was thinking is this normal...I have put my landing page as a blogger blog with a review of the product and 15 related posts, is that enough?

status of the keywords shows "not showing (other)"

rofl. i'd recommend setting aside at least $1000 for ppc if you wanna be serious about it

I have that to spend on PPC...and I'm looking at getting into it...any places/books I should read? I've started looking at PPC Formula 2 it seems pretty legit. Please PM me..I'd really appreciate it

Thanks in advance

I also have PPC formula 2 and it is very confusing for me to follow, but I am looking at the simpler methods first in uderground traffic blueprint...you can download that on this forum just search it, it has a nice simple method for ppc

But yea I dont have that much money to spend on ppc...however I am giving that one method a shot which is really cheap.

mike konez also suggested ppc coach...he claims you can be a pro...I checked em out and they have a $1 14 day trial..check it out if you have the money bro

I am broke as hell dammit

ppc formula 2.0 is more of a pro training guide not for newbies in my opinion, I am a newbie so I dont quite get what hes talking about sometimes, but one thing is that hes spending like $1000 a day and stuff

PPC Formula 2.0 is more about making money from CPA through PPC. And yes in order to make it work, you have to be really good at google adwords.

I would suggest increasing your budget as practicing is the only way of really grasping adword or even yahoo search marketing campaign with all their intricacies.

Unfortunately you are almost guaranteed to lose money whilst learning the ropes of PPC. Don't be disheartened when your ads aren't as effective as you had hoped. Just analyse, improve, rinse, repeat.

I've been making a living from AdWords for over a year now, and still every week I make alterations, some turn out good, some turn out great, some turn out not so great so I go back.

I didn't read any books, just jumped right in. Albeit if you do read some books, they could save you from doing anything foolish (like accidently spending 1k in 1 day )

You have to experiment, just don't be afraid to lose some cash before the big bucks roll in.

Good luck :)

I agree with you on what you said but I did exactly what you did, I jumped into it and learnt the ropes but I still haven't lost money.

If I was going to give any sort of advice to someone that wants to look into PPC. It is: Look into Facebook PPC. Facebook now gets more traffic than Google and with Facebook disapproving 10x more ads than they approve, this means, less competition and less cpc.

Keep working man! Good luck :D

Alright guys thanks for the tips...

So my campaign is live now and I dont know what to expect from this but here are the details for 2 days of running the ad

Clicks 4,017
Impressions 271,661
CTR 1.48%
Avg. CPC $0.01
Avg. CPM $0.18
Total Cost $48.17

Bare in mind that I started running at $0.05 for one day and then I switched to 1 cent.

I am also using a $70 voucher so I have no loss

I have directed the traffic to a cpa offer which has thus far generated $30 from it
but the conversion rate absolutely sucks..I only had about 300 clicks on the offer and 11 leads

Can you please give me some tips to optimize this...

thanks to BHW I started making some money on my own...I love PPC because its so fast and I definitely want to scale it up as soon as I learn the tricks and will be confident enough to make profit.
